Kansas City is not located in Kansas because it was actually founded in the state of Missouri. The city was established at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers, and its name was derived from the Kansas River. However, the majority of the city is situated in Missouri, with only a small portion extending into the state of Kansas. This has led to some confusion over the years, but the city's primary location and governance remain in Missouri. **

Kansas is a beautiful state with its vast prairies, rolling hills, and picturesque sunflower fields. It also has a rich history, including its role in the Wild West and the Civil War.
